Lauching embedded programs. New windows lose focus

Guino, I just made my first attempts at embedding some applications and I love this feature. One thing is happening though, any new window that the launched program opens is thrust behind RR (loses window focus). I first noticed this when I launched RRconfig and then clicked the save button. The window that asks if I want to overwrite does not have focus and is hidden behind RR(happens with other embedded programs too). What can be done about this?

right now nothing... this is a perfectly good example of a badly written application -- where the windows do not have propper parenting. I'm thinking of adding support for embbeding multiple apps/windows ... with it, you could then define the windows that will show up and where they should show up...

I am pretty sure you can edit that pic viewer plugin's dimensions to where it will show in the space left for it.. look it up in the plugin's skin settings.

On a similar note,
I'm trying to embed USAPhotoMaps from http://jdmcox.com. I tried various window search strings like !USAPhotoMaps!Zone11 and so on... The window will flicker and sometimes it will embed after like 5 minutes of flickering. Is there some reason this app is so stubborn to embed?

you may want to try a different area.. some applications just don't like being resized out of certain parameters (i.e. borders out of screen, wrong aspect ratio or while maximized)...
