No that's to easy.. I expect a higly customized feature
I don't think it's a bad idea. shouldn't be to hard to implement though. I know that cops in The Netherlands are very happy with all these mp3car's and the insurance companies aren't very happy at all!
One thing for sure is the fact that my girlfriend takes my car sometimes to school. They aren't listening to music! They want to watch MTV clips.

I think only US cops are jumpy like this and ready to shoot you if you reach for
Driver License in your packet but not in Europe.

I'm not sure of exactly what you want me to do, but anything involving a different skin will require using buttons and in my eyes, that's not much different than what you'd get with a different skin. In fact, you can make a skin and name it like "aaaaaa" and it would then show as the first skin in the skin browser so two clicks and you're done to switch to it.
Anyway, at the moment I'm working on more "critical" stuff such as fixing bugs and functionality of current features (Phoco has a lot of bugs), file searching is incomplete, CDRip is incomplete and there are plenty of bugs to fix everywhere.. I'm only one and it only gets harder to take care of everything at once..

No experience yet, but last week I was pulled over because my windows are tainted. when the cop talked to me he was very curious about my setup. "Are you able to watch movies with that?" or "You know it's illegal to watch movies while driving" and questions like that. I know that insurance companies do have a problem paying damage if they found out you are able to..
Mercedes Benz does disable video standard (in front) while driving.
@guino:
No rush, it's just how I think about it. I know that I don't watch while driving, but I think it's a good feature. what about disable the front monitor and play video on the headrest monitor? There are more important updates to expect

I think this is easy to implement using GPS and some VB coding.

I don't see the point of making guino working harder than he already is. Just make a skin that doesn't have DVD and/or MOVIE buttons and you are set.

errrm why dont u just add a hidden button, that starts the audio player, and stays in that secondary screen, until u press the exit button(or back to menu)??? why do all these complicated things?? when its already made? eg....u have ur video player, which is defined by ur skin.ini, what u then do is add a hidden button, press that, and the audio player pops up, with in that second skin u then are able to go back to the main menu, or play vidoes etc(after going to the menu of course) and it should resume ur music too...well the last played song if u turned that feture on...
