Eek! That will break the GPs functionality.
What I don't yet is why music resume broke. It was working fine in older versions of RR. And it's not just hibernate. I don't get music resume on RR start. In both cases I need to go to the andir player skin and click the song (or possibly hit play). I'm currently running an early September build.

GPSGate is a handy little program that splits your comports to more than one
it also has a resume on error so if for some reason it gets halted (ie Hibernate) on the next effort to read from the port it will close and reopen
its handy

bringing this back up.
Hibernateaware=false is great for getting my music to resume after hibernation, but now my GPS doesn't continue (FD) I have to press a button on the skin to reset it.

RR will also close/reopen the GPS port if it doesn't receive data for a few seconds (Reconnect GPS).. so even with hibernateaware=false, you should still be able to use the GPS.

actually, I have found this not to be just freedrive but RR as well. the song displayed on the scroll doesn't change when the playing song does, untill I press a button. It still scrolls though (I think, will have to have a look again)

Hey, I have a similar issue, but not quite the same... When I go into hybernation my music pauses, but when I come back it dosn't play, not even if I hit the play button, as a matter of fact for me to get any music playing again I need to close and re-open RR... feel like this was prob. adressed already, but I searched and couldn't find this problem yet...

Try limiting your scope of search to the previous page. The answer is there.

I had the same problem. I found that there was a plugin in wimamp that was causing it to close during standby and hibernation. Thats why you have to reload RR. try disabling the gen_jumpex plugin in winamp. If this was already addressed then I'm sorry I missed it.

No problem, I was getting frustrated myself over this last week. I guess this must be from the new winamp.
