good finding..

BTW, I don't believe that plugin comes with 2.95, thus the reason I never saw the issue.

I have been having a similar issue with the new version of RR and winamp 5 I have to restart RR to get when amp to play but everything else in RR works fine. I looked for the gen_jumpex plugin but could not find it is it called something else in winamp?

I think it's under general purpose labled as "jump to file extra"

I just went to the plugins directory in winamp and deleted the file.

BINGO!
That's exactly the same problem I was suffering from.
Luckily, it was fixed with the new 'Jump' plugin -- available here!

While you're at it, check out my new JTFEC plugin for RR. Look in my sig.

This fixed my issue as well btw. I am just putting my puter together and it is still a desk project for now .

Anyway what exactly does this plugin do? Will I be missing some functionality? I wanted to make sure I can use the media library and FLAC files in the end other than that I don't care much.

Its some file that provides jumping to other files. I've deleted it and I've seen no difference, but I do use RR as my music browser, not winamp.

I'm having this issue too. Just kind of learned to ignore it. Guess I'll give these things a try...

I was having this problem too and disabling/removing the whole "Jump to File" thing took care of the problem -
Shoot, now when i come out of Hibernation, music starts to play even before the RR window shows up!

Thanks for the fix - Maybe make this thread a sticky?

Hi friends!

This is my first post in mp3 beouse my poor english. I come from www.solocarputer.com in Spain.
I'm having the same issue than Rampage101 and enforcer. Unchecking the option for ignoring the hibernate procedures, the music resumes but RR doesn't refresh the sreen, neither clock nor gps, until I check a key or move the mouse.

I have tested to hibernate viewing the SpeedFan Charts, monitoring the cpu temps. When windows resumes, the chart continues updating like after the hibernation process.

I also tested Winamp running out of RR, hibernating and resuming with no problem.

I also have tested with Hibernatetrigger, http://www.rpi.edu/~desimn/suspendtrigger/index.html and it has the same problem like RR. It stalls until I move the mouse.

I don't know abut programming but may be a problem with the VB libraries?

This is my hardware: ASROCK AliveNF4G-DVI (BIOS 1.2 updated) - SEMPRON AM2 3200+ - 512Mb DDRII 667MHz CL5 - HD 3,5" 80Gb ATA133 - MM400 - PS2 Multimedia Keyboard - WiFi USB 802.11b - LCD 84x48 - USB Card Reader - PS2 Mouse - Other USB wireless keyboard&mouse.

And my software: Windows XP Professional SP2 (all updates done) - VBrun60sp6 - RR Oct 8th 2006 - WinAmp 2.95 With only input/output plugins.

Thanks for your great work!

Welcome RedArrow, Nicely put, I have kind of learnt to live with it now. But it would be nice to find a fix for this.

Thanks enforcer.

I'm decided to solve this problem anyway.

I think this is an VB issue, since the Hibernate Trigger fails like RR. If this is true, I only need a task scheduler wich can detect the hibernation resuming like SpeedFan, and send a keystroke or move the mouse for me. Anybody knows one?

Hmm, maybe adding something to the ONRESUME command in RR. But then again if RR is having trouble recognising that it may have trouble running an ONRESUME commnad.

might just have to have a play with some settings

That doesn't work. I already tested it. I'm thinking to make a program in c, who detects the resume from hibernation and then move the mouse. The problem is that I don't know how to program in c, so I have tell to a friend in the spanish forum (the languaje is not a problem there!) who is studing it. And I'm also searching from a advanced task programmer wich can detect hibernate resumes, with any results yet.
