I have the latest version, created a rr.ini from scratch and added resumecheck=true.
I start roadrunner. winamp is running in the background. I create a playlist and it's playing fine. I clear the playlist (including deleting the winamp.m3u) and hibernate with ewf and horm enabled.
RoadRunner and WinAMP are on a non fixed partition.
Next time I resume I create a playlist, which plays fine. (A winamp.m3u is created in the winamp directory on the non-fixed partition.)
I cut power to the system (i.e. don't hibernate again).
The next time I start the system the earlier created hibernaten file is loaded (obviously ).
RoadRunner and WinAMP are running, as they did before hibernating.
The playlist in RoadRunner stays empty though, as it was when the hibernate file has been created. RoadRunner doesn't reload the winamp.m3u in the winamp directory (reloading the winamp.m3u is included in my ONRESUME command)

quick thought, but is 30 seconds passing in between the time you cut the power to it, to the time you've resumed back into RR ?

We'll mine wouldn't resume either, so I've messed with a few things. I moved the 11-2 Roadrunner.exe, my rr.ini, ExecTBL.ini, and my skin folder into a Road Runner folder that was the 9-6 release(I think), and everything resumes fine... XM, FM, and mp3s all resume where I was when the computer went into standby. I've tried comparing the files to see what changed, but it proved to be too monotonous for me! THis is my rr.ini:

Notice that I'm not even using the resumecheck function, so something else had it hosed up.
Any ideas, Guino?

Well, I figure since it worked without it, I didn't need it. I'm just trying to help troubleshoot.

yes, if it worked in one version then it should work in another, however -- the fix in this thread did not require that setting, while the fix in the RR release requires it.

G, for the first time I finally realized what is causing an issue I have.. I've restored my PC a few times so I didn't know exactly what caused my issue.. What it is is when I come out of hibernation I get this error from winamp:
""Directsound output v2.42 (d) error""......
The only time I get it is if I have "resumecheck=true" in my RR.ini.
Is that whack or what?

Try setting usbsound=true in rr.ini. This will add a few seconds delay to give the sound hardware and drivers are few more seconds to do their thing before resuming playback.

All you should need is hibernatereload=true (since you ARE using horm/ewf).

Switch to the WaveOut plugin and see if it works.

Im using resumecheck=true.
And my pc resumes music fine upon windows resume, however I also have 'Fade-in' selected, but the volume just starts playing at the previous setting.
Now, when I press the lcd or move the mouse the song indicator skips to the position it was on the very instant the pc resumed (the music pauses for a second - then continues from where it was when i moved the mouse) and then the volume Fades-in.
Any ideas?
I'm using LSX void 3.2, all the hibernate aware boxes are ticked (in RR config). No tick in USB soundcard. resumecheck=true. Not using horm/ewf, but it IS 'aware' ticked.
Thanks
Ice

I am still having trouble with winamp not starting and this obvisously causes the "1." empty playlist as per my post #'s 127, 130 and 135. Is anyone else having similar problems?
I haven't even been worrying about resuming at this stage, just copy latest roadrunner.exe in & start it up = no winamp, put old .exe in & winamp starts again, no restarting or hibernating.
I have been using tjesh's modified verison in my car with no probs, latest RR gives me grief but now when I set up a friends pc even tjesh's modded version does not start up Winamp, earlier versions all work fine, using winamp 2.95 on both car pc's.
Tried fresh installs, clean rr.ini etc, copy working roadrunner folder to other pc, still no luck
Attatched is the debug.txt file
Thanks!

Try setting Hibernatereload=false. I think this fixed that error for me. Although Im not sure why, and then one day I turned it back to true, and it still works. :/
