RR forgets GPS port!!!

Hi,

Im working with RR on my machine and Im having problems with RR when setting up the GPS port number. I change the port from 0 (default) to 4 (actual), I hit the "save" button, and when I load RR configuration program again the port is again in 0.

Of course, if I try mapmonkey it says "Com port not found"... the weird thing is that it was working a few days ago.

I tried updating to the latest version but it seems thats not the solution. Has anyone had such problem?

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling again the lates version available, with no luck.

Thnx 4 your help

The GPS option in RRConfig is only saved when you select "MAPPOINT" or "MENU" ... If you select MM or External you should set the GPS port in the GPS APPLICATION. If you set RR to control the GPS port without using the GPS menu or mappoint (inside RR), you most likely will have issues... just set that to 0 (zero) and set the port in MM or FD or whatever GPS application you use.. only set the GPS port when using Mappoint or when setting up multiple GPS applications...
