Which EQ?

I am a bit confused.

Winamp has a built in EQ
RR has an EQ panel
The sound card driver has an EQ panel
Windows Media Player has an EQ

Which EQ does RR control or is it independent from the rest?

We are not using the audio outs from the motherboard sound card. We are using the SPDIF output.

Winamps EQ does not seem to control the EQ over Spdif The mobo briver eq does as well as Windows Media player.

It seems like the EQ in RR does not control the EQ over Spdif either. Although the volume slider workes when set to all lines. What are we doing wrong?

RR Controls winamp's EQ ... you need to turn Winamp's EQ on OUTSIDE RR before it works (if you want to use it). The Soundcard EQ and any hardware based EQs will overlay Winamp's EQ (as it is the main source) ... Winamp's EQ DOES work over SPDIF out (I use it at home) as long as you turn it on first...

Speakin of Eq settings...

Is there a list of what all the lines in the diff eq presets are...

Line - changes what
1 - winamp vol
2 - winamp preamp
3-12 - Eq bands
13-24 don't know(windows line control??)

Trying to get the resume vol thing straightened out

so once this get straightened out, and I use the preset;xxxx;mixer command, it won't matter what eq preset that im on cause it will just change the main vol setting pretty much...

TIA for the unpresidented user support

I can't possible know that.. this varies from sound card to sound card (the number/type of audio lines varies).. This is why I don't include any presets with RR's package... you need to make presets for YOUR sound card or they won't work right.. I do believe the first lines are for winamp and the remaining (as many as your sound card handles) are for the windows mixer -- they should be in order according to your sound card lines (listed in the debug file) ...
