Its possible to do an audio CD direct in XP but you have to use Windows Media Player.

I personally don't see the usefulness of a CD Burning app in a CarPC environment.

I think you are missing the point.

Confusion says : If it can be done, let it be done.

Also nice when some friends like your music, you can burn the a cd, just like that, in your car!

Coolness-factor!

I know that but that was not what i wanted.
i use that way to day. but i should be more convenient to have a simple mp3 to audio or / and mp3 to mp3 app included and skinned in RR .

Check the nerocmd.exe Command Line. You may burn a CD audio from a dir creating a batch command. Ahead Nero required

winamp 3 was the worse version of winamp ever, even the developers say so.

Can't winamp 5 do that?

I agree also. that's why after winamp 3 bombed they went back to updating winamp 2 for a while before they finished winamp 5 (=2+3)... I remember seeing on their website once something like "winamp 2.9... it's even newer than winamp 3!"

but it would be extremely cool to be able to easily burn a CD right from the frontend. I'm sure a passenger would be extremely impressed if they liked the music and a couple minutes later they had a CD of it
