Ok so I try to get the tripex3 viz to run in RR I use winspector to try to trap the window name. This is a Winamp Viz plugin down loaded from Nullsoft

I get Properties for window 0X001320F2

Class Name is Tripex3WndClass
Text Tripex3

So in rr config i enter the following for external viz window

!Tripex3WndClass!Tripex3

And nothing happens the viz is playing under RR but not showing up in RR.

I am trying to find a viz that will play smoothly and also play full screen in RR.

IN RR Config choose "Other" for visualization type and enter Tripex3 in the box. Obviously not Italic. That's it. Just the windows name should be fine. Don't worry about the classname. Also, you can adjust the appearance of the window it opens in by opening AudioPlayer.Skin in a text editor such as word and changing the coordinates of the line that starts with an "A"

Looks like this

/, A, x, y, w, h, color;RGB
A01,25,300,800,200,000,000,000

Those are X and Y coordinates and the W and H are the width and height respectively. You can play the W and H within some range, but it may be limited by that set by the designer of the plugin. Good lUck

PS, I too searched for a good full screen viz but I gave up after a while, realizing that strategically placing a long rectangular window gave me the effect I wanted.

Well you can write off Tripex3 as well. It worked 1 time after the initial launch it Locks up Winamp and RR when ever it is launched. To clear it you have to go into task manager and kill the process. Figure that viz in RR is a dead issue until something is found that works.

Shame as Tripex3 looks sweet.

The thing about tripex3 it seems to be a flash based vis plugin. At least the controls appear to be flash driven.

Unfortunately the authors no longer seem to be around.

I just downloaded Tripex3 experimentally, it hasn't locked up anything yet on me. Perhaps you have other problems . .
