okay, since im a little slow on all this so far... RR now has sirius option, and in order to use it you need an interface from another board memeber (forgot who, can i get a link??? ) and obviously a subscription. i thought the interface was still experimental and not availanble to us yet... that changed?
this is the first sirius option out right now for carputer use, correct?
thanks

Thanks for pointing out the bug... 'getthistime' was meant for XM usage (this in the XM module).. I ended up using it in the video player for convenience, in any case I just modified the two functions in the video player to return the time in seconds and kept the 'getthistime' function as before so it doesn't interfere with the XM support.

I'm Thinking TimeTrax does the same (simulate a COM port).. MitchJS will make boards available for sale as soon as he's back from Vacation (mid-August).. but any adapter with a COM port in windows should work.

Guino, could it work with using MM/FD's City? (could you add this option)
like mybe you can add an option to make cityweather=FDCity and a countryweather=São Paulo, Brazil so it would get the city I'm in.... (and use São Paulo if it cant find weather for that city)

The most important thing is that the CURRENT SKIN has the MM_*.jpg images available for drawing. Otherwise it won't work.
The flash logo works, but you're basically overwriting the area of the logo (and that was "granted" on previous version) -- but won't work from now on... you should either reduce the size of the flash logo OR make transparent OFF/DOWN and ON images to where it only draws the buttons outside the area used by the flash logo. To do that, you just have to make BMP files instead of JPG (lossy), and make the transparent area (where not to draw) PINK (Full Red, Full Blue, No Green).

As I posted on the notes: the WEATHER folder needs to go under RR's subfolder and NOT on the Skin's folder.

I'm not done with the weather, and have actually devoted little time on it so far... I do intend to allow it to use the GPS's city info for weather... but there are many things I need to work on it..

As you mentioned above, the problem with the flash i'm using is that my ON image also uses the same area of the flash, the flash was transparent before.. but I will alter my skin now to suit

If anything, I can probably add some code to redraw the flash object when drawing over it, but chances are it might make it "flash" (literally)..

Has he left yet? I know he had a few trials left, and I've been trying to get a hold of him for a few days, but he's not responding...
