I have inserted in skin the images mm_*.jpg, I have started MM but nothing!

Does the ETA/ETR/Location etc info show propperly on the BMV2 skin ? If it doesn't you probably just don't have MM setup to interface with RR (Like the GPS FAQ says). I'll double check it later tonight but it was working when I tested it..

Hi guino,

As always.. awesome job. Just wondering if you had a chance to look into the balance fading to one side on some Audigy soundcard? I had post this as a bug/request on you previous release. Appreciate if you would update me as whether you are going to add a lock function to the balance or not. Thanks

Guino,
Just a quick question, is there anyway to make RoadRunner tell you if it is connected or Disconnected to the Internet? I guess what I want is something like Centrafuse has, where it states Connected or Disconnected.

Awesome Program again. I will have the Install Updated and Uploaded in just a little bit with this new version.

Thanks,
Bryan

CF is made in .NET which allows the software run multiple threads and not freeze it when doing something like check if the internet is connected. RR is made in VB6 and if I don't do it propperly, everytime I'd be checking for the internet, it will likely make RR unresponsive for a second (needless to say this would suck)..

The most important thing is that the CURRENT SKIN has the MM_*.jpg images available for drawing. Otherwise it won't work.

The flash logo works, but you're basically overwriting the area of the logo (and that was "granted" on previous version) -- but won't work from now on... you should either reduce the size of the flash logo OR make transparent OFF/DOWN and ON images to where it only draws the buttons outside the area used by the flash logo. To do that, you just have to make BMP files instead of JPG (lossy), and make the transparent area (where not to draw) PINK (Full Red, Full Blue, No Green).

Got mine working... so cool .

Hey Guino, GREAT JOB. I got back from my 45 day European backpacking, babysitting, walkabout late last month. Can't believe the major mods going on. Took me 2 weeks just to catch up with reading the forums.

Keep up the outsanding support!

Hi Guino, GREAT JOB as ALLWAYS!!!. Is there a chance we can see the weather background to look like BAV2 skin. And also change the "TV Button" to weather on the main page. Thanks!

I'll be doing some skinning soon:

-Change the XM Icon on the BMV2/BAV2 skins to a Sattellite (so it can be used for SIRIUS or XM).
-Slightly change the SIRIUS Screen to remove the song position slider (not supported)
-Make Weather screens for the BAV2 skin

If anybody has any request for minor changes on the Brushed skins, better speak up now..

I'll also be adding some dynamic imaging commands to allow loading of images on commands .. Load an Image on the Empty layers is already in place for skin definition, but I'll add support to load them on Any layer (Empty/On/Off/Down/All) and allow to load them by commands (i.e. pressing a button)... this will allow skinners to make a Play button that changes when pressed and such.

check readme.txt for rr.ini parameters that need to be added, then edit your skin to add a button with the command "WEATHER"

Guino, instead of running the weather by using a city from rrconfig ini, could you perhaps alter it to something like "WEATHER;||=Sao Paulo, Brazil;WORLD" which could allow for somthing like "WEATHER;CUSTOMFDCITY||=,Brazil;WORLD" or whatever syntax (due to mixing "Sao Paulo" text with CUSTOMFDCITY as a variable) is required... this would allow us to customize the weather pulling info from say ou favorite GPS program, it would allow us to have a button to switch from like "Home Weather" "Weather at the Beach"... could allow us to have a little clickable map with the area around us and so forth...

OK two things.

1. Can we have a weather units for the UK so speed is in MPH and temperature is in C (I assume those are the only differences between the weather units)

2. As there are sunrise and sundown times in there, can these be used (if available) to switch day and night screens. (maybe you could have seperate variables for these which are updated whenever you get new infor from the weather module)
