Dual screens.. what I would love
I would love the ability to choose which soundcard the dvd/video playback comes out off, I would love to be able to have the dvd/video sound to come out of another card so the rear users can listern to it on headphones and I can still have my mp3's on the main soundcard. Maybe even a little button to toggle between main and rear.. This would be great but no idea how doable it is
I am at the moment doing a dual screen skin for my car, main aims is its simple enough for the wife to work. I've only done 2 screens so far, but its looking good

I'd love to be able to select what items show up up on what screen.... i.e. have music and nav default to main screen but have video and games default to passenger screen

yeah thats the idea, the games one will be easy to do :-) but the DVD will be slightly harder due to the fact sound is needed. I'm going to try and get FD on the main and the dvd playing in the back, as I've just got my dash back together this is the next thing to do

the other thing was to find a video/dvd player that allows you to set the default sound output card, then it would be easy to do

how about zoom player? It has the ability to override audio output to any supported sound device. i am using it in my skin as my dvd player by modifying the powerdvd_player.skin.
