RR Volume Revisited + Another question on rewinding music...

Hey Guino,

did anything ever come out of that discussion a long time ago about possible adding some configurability about what interval the volume could be set in RR? I often find that either my 100% is too low, or my 1% is too loud... I'd like to configure it like .1% or .25% until 10% and then 1% after that or somthing... before I go tear at the code I figured maybe you had done something since some other ppl also complained of this... it is a pain to have to adjust my amps for Loud/Low useage....

Anyways I knwo we discussed it a long time ago but couldnt find the thread searhcing for "volume interval","volume 1% 5%" or some other variants....

and for the second question: is there a skin command that allows me to REV the current track x seconds? I'd like to add this to my hibernate file putting REV;15 for example int he On hibernate return in exectbl, so that the music goes to where it was when the key went out... this is really vanity, so if it isnt in there now I dont think it should be added, but would be interesting if ti is just adding 1 line to exectbl...

Cheers!

EDIT: this is in the wrong placr, can someone move it please... damn I'm stoopid... i should stop browsing several forums at once

Seeing as this is in the wrong place and is asking about things in RR that have been discussed before.

Didn't anything ever come of having the option to allow the video to continue play when you go to another screen?

Now this one was an easy one enforcer...

Last update was Aranthranar (or whatever his nick is) was going to try and put some of his changes in the latest RR code and submit that to guino to put in the official codebase... look at my "split-screen gps" thread in the RR (or is it skins?) forum... it was replied last week...

Incorrect OT does not contribute to post count, therefore My Thread AKA Head does not add to post count.

Conclusion: U don't know enough about the forum n00b.

There's no command to seek back a specific number of secs.. you but you can do: "!PREV||!PREV||!PREV" for 15 secs for instance...

I just haven't looked into the volume thing yet.. you'd basically have to make it load settings from somewhere, and then if settings are available change the "dovol" function to perform adjustments according to those settings (when present) and leave the normal stuff for when the settings are not present..

Cool, I'll look at dovol... thanks!

@Enforcer, you do not know how to interpret my posts! I was referring to you have 2x my number of posts but only 1.1x my number of subscribed threads! Consideringt hat OT doesnt count posts it just indicated further that you keep coming to these stupid threads and winding them up just like I'm doing now!

It just shows I don't put a post in a thread and leave it alone. I always make sure it has another follow it sometime later

IOW I don't just post and run
