Phone button to bring Phoco in front of RR
Hi guys,
I want to run RR and Phoco seperate as there are more features available with Phoco as a stand alone.
All I need is when I push the Phone button in RR the already running but hidden Phoco pops up.
I looked at the commands in the RR skin editor but cant figure it out.

I think if you just set a RUN command it will pull the already open PhoneControl to the fore.

What happens when you are in RR and a call comes in. Will the phoneco popup show? Also how do you switch back to RR?
Have been trying this out myself and have the problem that the popup is not shown above.
Any suggestions ?

Even with .exe does not work.

Just need to find a way to push the Phone button in a RR skin and Phoco goes in front of RR to make a call. You can minimize phoco after you are done. There is a setting in Phoco for hidden when not in use and when it first starts up.
Phoco will show when a call comes in no problems without the popup button

This command should run phoco and also bring it to front, remember to include the quotes.
"RUN;C:\Program Files\PhoneControl.NET\PhoneCtl.NET.exe"
also, since you guys are talking about this, how do you get rid of that button that shows up when you minimize phoco?

Thanks liquid It is working .... sort of I don't think Phoco likes being handled this way. As long as you do not minimize Phoco you are ok. But once you do, it will not maximize again. I have asked Zorro if it is possible to create a button on the Phoco screen that will replace the minimize button in Phoco and add a Run=C:\programs\RoadRunner\Roadrunner.exe command to the button. .
But the code is right. Thanks again!

Out of curiosity, what enhancements are you getting out of doing it this away? If you run it remotely/embedded from RR what are the downsides??
I have the single BT connection problem with Phoco/RR on a Motorola type phone but the rest of it is working fairly well.
The TCP/IP remote calls on port 17xx can slow things down a bit on the CarPC when connected to a full LAN/WAN network and Internet.
If you have Phoco running and want to use the Phone for a DUN, then that causes problems.

it works for me when phoco is minimized, only problem i havent ever been able to figure out is how to get rid of the button that shows up when you minimize phoco
there is also a switch to window command in phoco, it works a little weird as in i think you cant shut phoco down, it has to be killed by another app.

Set the button to false.. worked for me. He also got back to me about how to create a button to go back to RoadRunner
From Zorro:
Open the configuration file with Extended Configurator, then set PopupOnHide to False (MainWindow section).
How to give the window back to RR:
Have a look at WindowToSwitchTo : http://zhorvat.dyndns.org/PCForums/S...aspx?PostID=39
Use "RoadRunner".

Up to the last update of RR which I have not tried yet, was not able to use the headset function properly when using bluetooth and Phoco and RoadRunner, also the skin I was using did not have signal strength, or battery useage.
With Phoco stand alone the headset automatically connects on in comming calls and will disconnect when done, or if I want to I can hit a button and headset is turned off and I can pickup the phone.
I also like the fact that I can shutdown Phoco if needed but have RoadRunner still going or visa versa.
