One question: Is there any way to overwrite a saved drawing? As it is now, it looks like I can only save new drawings under new numbers. It would be nice if we could replace already saved drawings when they're no longer needed.

download post #39 the save works good

Ah, I was using an earlier version. Post #39 version does work great. Thanks.

By the way, I grew up in Ellicott City and am there fairly often. I'd love to check out your setup some time.

This is my final – if I could get the save and erase working

Bigger now – for more writing area

Once I get it working I can lose the print button for others

I did update the file in post #46 to this one

Sweet!
This is awesome guys!

1 small suggestion. As with other software development threads, can the most updated version please always be in post 1?

I am humbled to be in the presence of such genius.

Very good looking!

The buttons seem to work, but the drawing area doesn't work when I implement the skin into the MC2.0 skin.

I have the same problem – it runs ok with flash player but when you play, as .swf in RR the background is transparent and no lines

Thumbs up Great little program Chuck! Very useful.

I have the same problem with MC2.0 when trying to use the draw II.swf (I'm going to try a couple of other skins, but I expect the same problem).

Also, when trying to embed the .exe programs, only draw.exe embeds properly. drawandsave.exe loads into the launch skin, but doesn't embed it just sits as another window on top.

Thanks,

GRod

Thumbs up Etch-A-Sketch finally makes it to the digital age

I love this program, and it made me laugh when my wife said she's glad I spend so much time and effort putting etch a sketch on my computer, and then walked away shaking her head.

You know you're hooked on carputers when you've spend loads of $$$$ only to get excited about a digital version of a 40 year old toy (this version is way better, it's in color and you can print it )

Cheers,

GRod

Same here. I put this command on a button in my main screen (and used my iGuidance skin) for it.
B,401,176,400,111,"LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS.SKIN;Draw;C:\ PROGRA~1\ROADRU~1\SKINS\DRAWANDSAVE.EXE;Draw"
Does this look ok? The app doesn't come up on my XPsp2 system, but it will start by itself.
