I see that the correct folder has been created under the Documents and Settings tree, but there are no *.sol files there or anywhere else on the drive.

also it sound like you may not have shared object implemented then being as its not saving ...
***IMPORTANT FOR ALL OTHER WHO SAVE DOES NOT WORK FOR****

try this go to the app right click and select settings then make sure flash can save locally (move the slider)

you can figure out how much storage you need by assuming the average scribble will be between 5-8k in size saved locally i left 10 megabytes to potentially store things

I right clicked the screen and went into SETTINGS and adjusted my local disk size to 10mb. But curiously, the ABOUT said that I had version 6. I checked the macromedia website and it said I have version 8,0,22,0 installed on my computer. When I exit the app, the disk size goes back to what it was initially (100k).

I love this. This is a great tool. I can't tell you how many times I've needed to write something down in my car, but couldn't find a pen so I had to root around my car looking for the damn keyboard.

This is great!

that is strange but if your using the exe i belive this is how it works i encoded the app with flash6 so to exe is not going to update itself unless you have a greater version of the flash player installed try the swf i posted and load it into rr and see if it works or dl one of chucks versions and see if that exe works he is using flash 8

BTW flashplayer 8 is the version installed for playing swfs over the internet not locally thru the exe AFAIK

I extracted the swf from drawsmleft.zip and doubleclicked it to run it. It is the first one I've found that saves the drawings. Don't know why the exe and other swf's didn't but I'm happy with this one anyway. The problem is, how do I run the swf instead of the exe from RR? Here's my button command line for the exe:
B,401,176,400,111,"LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS.SKIN;Sketchpa d;C:\PROGRA~1\ROADRU~1\LAUNCH\DRAW\DRAW&SAVE.EXE;! ShockwaveFlash!Draw"

I've tried replacing the exe with swf with no luck. How do I run a swf from within RR?
