I'd make a copy of the "EXTERNAL_GPS.SKIN", Name it Scratchpad.skin.
Then copy the SWF into the root of your skin then add a "FLASH" window on the "scratchpad.SKIN" and just put in "DRAW&SAVE.SWF" (or whatever the name of the .SWF Is) in the "Movie name" Field
,and the button would just need:
"LOAD;scratchSWF.skin"
This eliminates the need for a path in the command line. Only problem is if you use more than one skin (IE: BMV2, and MC2) you would have to make a new scratchpad.skin for both.
Thats how I did mine anyway.

@chuck

... same, I've tried with the one by lostreception and your three modified versions, and it's always the same. And furthermore I cannot draw on the right side of the pad, about 1/4 of the width (my scratch area is 800x400, is it a wrong shape ?) ...

... no success ... here are images from my desktop running directly swf files, again I cannot write on about 1/4 of the drawing area (on the right side, and also reducing the width) ... if any other guy on this forum has no problem with this tool, I guess that I have something wrong in my system (dlls, flash tools, and so on) .... any further suggestions ?

no i worte the program and since chuck moved some of the buttons i had the drawing area restricted to the area specified in my original swf so i need to update the code or tell chuck where to locate it in the file.
