This would be great for MWI, as the wheel button acts like left click.

Yeah, it would...
What do you mean by Girder and mouse plugin? What command to make for it, if the wheel doesn't acually work?

Girder intersepts the mouse wheel input and using the plugin to detect the buttons/wheel, you can send up and down commands to RR...

Well, yeah, but I wanted to use the actual mouse wheel, since I have a mouse in the armrest hooked up to an encoder...

This is not going to happen anytime soon because of the lack of support in VB6 -- coz I'd need to add window hooks for each screen which is potentially unstable. Basically it is a lot of work, a lot of code and a lot of risks for something that can be done using Girder or Zorro's Mouse-Wheel application, plus it would provide very little reward for most people (who use a touchscreen).

Yeah you can use the actual mouse wheel to control RR. The way it works is you set up Girder to listen to mouse wheel input. Then anytime there's an event, (for eg. "Scroll Up") send an appropriate command to RR, (for eg., "Up"). If you're not familiar with Girder, it'll take sometime to learn, though.

Thanks for the official answer Guino!

B8bboi, your solution works. Well, in theory at least, cause in RR, when pressing the key "up" or "down", it sends the cursor to the lower left part of the screen.
Guino said somewhere that the solution to this was to resize the skin from 800x600 to 800x599, but that doesn't seem to work either...

Its not arrow up/down keys, its the command "UP" / "DOWN"...
Either girder or Zorro's Mouse-Wheel application sends the command(s) not the actuall up/down keys...

In RR, without Girder, or MWI loaded, when pressing UP/DOWN arrows to navigate though the playlist, RR sends the cursor to the lower left part of the screen.
Any other ideeas on how to scroll though the playlist...?

Nothing, it's just that the UP/DOWN doesn't work.
Well, in the end, the truth is I can live without this feature. The software is great, and in the iDrive skin I saw there are two buttons designed especially for scrolling the playlist...perhaps I could make two hotkeys for those buttons...
