runtime error - I need urgent help
I have this error popping up in RR editor. Please help me because I don't want to lose all the work I just put into this skin so far and it's my first attempt as well. I was going quite well until it appeared that I had 2 skins named the same. I deleted one and it for some reason had the extention ..skin with 2 dots??? anyway, it was deleted leaving the other one and now I can't do anything on the editor or i get this:
Help me please.
Thanks
Baz

Thanks
I had 2 labels showing Date and time on my skin. They were in arial and i had no fonts at all in my skin folder. I went to notepad and took out the 2 offending lines of code which had the date and time. I thought it had worked but no it still does the error. What should I have in my skin folder?

The fonts should be installed on your system, they don't have to be in your skin folder at all.

And i just noticed this as well. If i move my mouse after double clicking the button on my list then it causes the error.

I just completely redone the first part of my skin. (It's only my main menus as this is my first day at it). Everything seemed to be fine and it was back to normal. So i saved the skin.
I copied and pasted all my files to the RR skins folder.
I tried to play it in RR and it wouldn't work so i closed it and then went back to the editor. I tried to open my original file in the folder I use to work on it and it returned back to the errors again???? How can it affect these files that it hasn't even used? I'm getting the question marks where the writing should be.
HHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLPPPP, this is driving me nuts.

could it be something to do with the picture viewer?
update - no it's not because i changed it and it's fine.
Looks like it could be a major flaw in the editor, because i can't see any other way of doing this.

also another thing, this is likely the real issue with your skin the buttons are all formatted wrong.
this is a snipet from my skin, your code should look like this
B,628,0,173,38,"VISU",""
B01,-2,40,158,76,"AUDIO",""
B09,156,40,157,76,"VIDEO" ,"VIDEO"
B03,313,39,158,77,"GPS","NAVIGATION"
B04,471,39,158,77,"DVD" ,"DVD"
B06,629,39,175,77,"PHOCO",@PHONEDISCONNECT@
so your first button should look like this
B01,15,0,130,70,"MIXER","Mixer"

Every time I double click on a button or it's properties I get the box popping up like this below (unless I have the mouse over my skin image, then it goes straight to the runtime error). If i use the cursor keys and enter to select done or cancel then i can double click it out of the list again. If i keep double clicking and selecting the same button from the list on the left then it keeps adding another blank field onto the bottom of the properties box (as you can see below).
I'm going to go and keep working on my images because that editor is a heap of junk for testing skins.
