Feature request: iGuidance

Hello. I guess this thread is for guino. I was wondering if it's possible to make the external GPS skin act like the video skin. Right now I used the transparancy feature in the video screen to overlay the playback controls over the currently playing video. I was wondering if the same behavious could be copied over to the GPS screen. I would like to overlay the playback buttons over the bottom part of the map in guidance and possibly adding other buttons to control iguidance. I think this would eliminate the need to run external apps like skinbedder to add buttons on to iguidance. It would be supported natively in RR. Would that be hard to do guino ? Thanks. Let me attach a screenshot of the way I have it working on the video screen...

Basically he wants to have media control buttons on top of the iGuidance navigation screen. FrodoPlayer does some trickery to pull this off pretty well.

I think the issue is with the way iGuidance's window is generated. I'm not entirely certain, though.

I think the point is that it's not a feature that they can simply "add" by clapping their magic coder's hands together. It takes time and effort.

I need to expand many skin features, but theres's also so much other stuff I need to do it's hard to decide where to begin.. maybe I need to make a poll.

I know it's not THAT easy, but I figured since it's already done for the video screen, it shouldn't be that difficult to add it to the GPS screen also.
