Is there a way to check if .NET is installed on a system already? I can't remember if I installed it or not.

well too be honest I didn't check the code exact code against yours, i.e. "(0xc0000135)", so my error could've been different.
To check for .NET control panel->add/remove programs->look to see if you have "Micorsoft .NET Framework" in the list. If it's not you need to download it and if it is already there then I had a different error.
