Headrest LCDs not playing video?
I finally got my ATI card to clone the vga to the composite out for the headrest monitors and it works but does not look all that great. One problem I have is when I try to watch a video the video controls show on the LCDs but not the video? Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I use power DVD, but these are music video files so I am not sure what defaults RR uses there.

Most video cards these days have some copyright BS to prevent videos from going to two devices at once -- you can either play them at the composite out or at the VGA, but not both.. or at least, not without some sort of hack/patch.

Do you know if a hack does exist for ATI cards? (I am not asking for it directly just want to know before I begin my search) The video quality on just the windows portion is horrible also, so I wonder if a vga converter on a splitter may help?

if your second screen is VGA your best option is to get a "Y" cable splitter to plug both screens on the VGA cable.. it will look the best and will play videos fine. Composite quality is just not good enough for computer work, even for video it's bad, but yeat "watchable"..

Get the Omega drivers for your card. That should let you display video to both screens.

I found a full screen mode setting in the control panel some where that made video show but i still think it looks bad but at least it shows. I can not adjust out the gaps around the edges.

The video picture is as good as the vga up front.
And all I have to do is enable this.

Do you use a s-video to composite converter? I just bought an 8x agp card to replace the 4x ATI I took out of my home PC so I may try it but the ATI had a composite where the Nvidia is S-video
