Road Runner = happiness

Alright, i've been looking at converting my laptop w/ a broken screen to a carputer. well, i can thank road runner for pushing me over the edge, and me jumping into this thing.
a)free
b) looks great
c) functional
d) i'm a happy guy

I've been playing with it on my desktop, learning how to "embed" the programs and such. Quite easy to install, setup, and use. Thanks roadrunner!

I have a question, maybe this is not the thread for it, but we'll see. At work i do a lot of wardriving. Is there any way for me to load one of my sniffers into this front end?

depending on which sniffer you use.. should embed like any other program though. which one are you running?

well, i use netstumbler, vxsniffer, and wififofum
I guess i'm asking where would I embed it? i've really just pasted the shortcuts to the rrconfig file.

there's a script for netstumbler to work with mappoint and it does work with RR's mappoint support. It is even able to display the access points in the map. But it takes quite some work to get it all working -- I remember testing it long ago but don't have and don't remember much about it.

sweet, when the time comes i will do that. right now, on my desktop, i am using RR and FreeDrive. pretty cool stuff. what are you guys favorite apps to run along with RR?
