That's puzzling, the debug seems fine.. what are you using to control/switch skins via SDK ? GammaControl ?

well i've reinstalled my laptop today and added one piece of software at a time until I get this box pop up again and it was ok until I installed gammacontrol. I have tried older versions of RR and older versions of GC and it still does it. I'm stumped I can't believe i'm the only one that runs RR with GC there must be others so why do I get this problem?

well at present if I turn GC off it doesn't do it but I thought in the past it did but obviously my mind is playing tricks on me.

I've had a go at running winspector spy this eve what info do you need from that?

I had a go at doing a screen shot but not having anything on my laptop to paste it to made it somewhat difficult.

a quick bit of info i did pull from it if it helps was:-

window 000D0286, class thunderRT6 form DC, created
class specific - window is Ansi
HTML format - #EBE9ED
hex - EB, E9, ED

hope this is enough thank you for your help on this

sorry to drag this one back from the back of beyond but I think I may have sussed it (keeps fingers crossed) and as others have had this thought they may like to know what I found. All I have done is deselected in the RR config "RR is aware of hibernate procedures" so now it says "ignore hibernate procedures" how this fixed it I don't know perhaps Guino can tell us. If you had asked me I would've said its now the wrong way round but it works at the moment.

Just came across this thread while searching for something else.
I've had this problem in the past (except I had a black box except a white one) and that's exactly what I had done to fix it.

Still a puzzle to me.. do any of you guys use the ONRESUME event for anything ? That's really the only thing that could affect the display of anything when resuming from hibernation.

wow,
i was just about to bring up the thing about the black box, i have one of those now too.

Trying out the new beta 9/20 with the GE beta and thats where i saw the black box.
I tried the steps above and my hibernate procedures was already unchecked. So i checked it, restarted, unchecked it and restarted and did nothing for me.
Im not sure i have the gamma control installed or not, i think i may, did a look for it in the Control Panel but didnt see it or anything in the RR folder. I may have stuck it somewhere else not sure, ill have to do a search for it to make sure.
Well at least u guys are getting rid of it, so there is hope
