Reading info from FreeDrive

Hello!

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to receive data in RoadRunner from the SDK.

I have set up the sdk.ini file for FreeDrive but how do I read this information in RoadRunner?

Cheers

are you adding to the source code or creating a skin.

if it's the later, prefix the FreeDrive command by CUSTOM for labels.

ie "CUSTOMFDSPEED" for speed

and to send commands to FreeDrive "SENDMSG;FreeDrive;cam" in a button.

Thanks Enforcer!

I'm creating a skin, and was trying to display info from FreeDrive but couldnt find any about how to do it.

So all I have to do is add CUSTOM in front of any datalabels I want to display? No spaces just directly like you wrote "CUSTOMFDSPEED".

Cheers

yep spot on :-)

You can also set up buttons on your skin that talk to freedrive..

like enforcer said.. just use something like "SendMsg;FreeDrive;Address" would open the address page, theres a list of what commands you can use in the freedrive folder
