Hello,
I've just installed the lasts roadrunner and mapmonkey.
I've configured RR to use mapmonkey in the GPS configuration page + the Mapmonkey path.
But when roadrunner starts and I click to GPS button...nothing happens...
If I start alone mapmonkey from a windows link, it plays well, from roadrunner, the only way I found is to select external gps software and specify the mapmonkey path, but in this way I can't view the MM full screen and RR restarts MM everytime I click on GPS button...very strange...
Could you help me?
thanks
Andrea

These questions should have been asked in there own threads and not in the installer thread as they are not installer questions.
@JDMinPDX depending on which skin you using you should have a weather folder in RR's root folder that has all the weather images(sunny,cloudy,ect...) and the weather screen skins in the skin folder that your using.
@zioandry If you use the external, you have to use the correct window title, as that is why it keep running a new instance every time you go into GPS. Using the MM option, unfortunately i can't help you with, but try searching you should what your missing.

I apreciate your help Blue, I do.
I do see the weather folder in the RR root and it has all those images, etc. And in the skin folder I so see weather, weather detail and weather map.skin.
I am using the regular BMV2 skin, I havent downloaded any other skins since I like this the best. Anyway, am I missing something? I see an APP button the main RR screen, click it and see weather in which I try to launch but it doesnt do anything. I really like this feature and would like to use it.

I am having the exact same problem as andrea here. When i had MapMonkey 1.1.344 and RR 2.0.0.12 it worked fine, but i have updated MapMonkey to 1.1.387 for the quick voice mute button and it no longer works by clicking on the GPS button. I updated RR to 2.0.0.24 and there was no luck. i can run MM on its own fine, or select it as external GPS program, but then I cant use the RR media controls at the bottom of the GPS Screen and it shows the stupid XP window round MM.
should i try to fix the MM command or leave it as an external app and embed the window?
thanks in advance
(sorry if this is in the wrong place aswell)

There is still a bug with the 2.0.0.2 updater. It continues to say there is an update available, but when I click download it responds with "Download Failure" errors.
If there is an update available, where can I download it from?

Try installing RR again without the updater...I'm not using the new updater, and I don't have any problems what so ever updating RR.

Pardon me for my ignorance.. why bother updating... With new RR install, it works flawless... Is it because of new plugins?

thanks for ur work Blue... new installer works great... I have a question though.. i tried gasfinder and it didn't work... I even copied over the binary.. didn't work.. maybe i do need to run updater after all... I noticed some files were missing from the newer version. Is my new installer didn't complete it all the way or are you guys doing some cleaning job or Guino is? Other than everything looks great so far...

I can't really say too much on the whole installer...as I don't use it. Its really all part of making the RR easier to install and start using...
Its most good for new comers to RR and need something that they can just run, just like a typical installation of any program...
