The source for the latest version of what? Are you referring to where the latest binary is downloaded from? The hosting source for the latest versions of the installer and updater... please clarify.

That's really strange. I've used IE and Firefox here at work and haven't had a problem downloading any of the files...

lol sorry, but still. source code for the installer (there isn't one, just a program to build the package), or for the latest RR binary (available at http://rrdownloads.net or http://guino.home.insightbb.com/download.html) or something else?

just curious, should there be 2 files inside of RR_Updater.zip
7za.exe looks a little suspicious to me. Just want to make sure.

Yes, it should be. It's the actual extractor for the binary. It's all good. Updated first post in the updater section to reflect mention of that file. Used it to have a widely usable extractor, as using built in XP extraction wouldn't work for everyone.

hey i just integrated the update check in my skin, so i can upgrade the version while inside the car. This led me to wonder about a couple items.

Is it possible for the update checker to use the plugin interface for RR, that way you can skin the two popups. The text in the pop ups is really tiny.
Or if the text could just be made to be bigger in the popups if the skin thing is too much.

I'll check out both methods and let you know what I figure out/decide. I'll be heading into work in about 20min, so I'll work on it once I'm there.
