Ok guys, the Installer has been updated and uploaded around the mirrors. There are two mirrors down so if you get a 404, just click on the download link again to hit a different mirror.
Should be about 27MB vs the Older 24MB. I've included the new Zips / ZipLocator, MediaInfo Dll, Winamp Dll and Fmod dlls. Those that require registering should be at install.
Cheers.

whatabout gdiplus? registering it won't do no harm
and maybe a new option on the RR config to set the fastmode (i'd call the option something like "use transparences")...
that would help a lot of RR new users and even old ones migrating to the new trasnparent skins

I am getting "Download Failed" on the Updater 2.0.0.2. Any clue why? I have no AV and Firewall is turned off, the system is 100% vulnerable
Updater status find my version as 2007/09/05. I originally tried to run the updater and it killed my roadrunner.exe. So i updated the updater and got the exe from the DigitalFX installation because that is what i am running and put it in that directory.
Should I just re-install the program from your installer?? Is your installer updated with the newest version? DigitalFX comes with the seperate RoadRunner.exe, is it necessary to overwrite roadrunner.exe again? or is that a question for JohnWBP?? thanks

UMMM yeah well I forgot to update the file the updater looks to for the new file version. So it 'should' be good now.
ALL RR HOSTING PROVIDERS.
I've created a new Mirror Management System at http://w3bma5t3r.com/mirror/
if you're currently hosting the RR Installer and Updater, or would like to, please sign up there. You can create an account and then add/modify/delete hosted packages, set daily download limits etc. This also allows you to disable downloads if needed for a period of time.
If you're already hosting files, since your links/packages are already added in, once you create an account I can update your links so they appear in your management area.

Issue with selecting Radioshark
When you select Radioshark it defaults back to HQCT when you access the RR Config.
BTW, is RR Config supposed to replace RRConfig.

You'll probably want to ask that question in the Release thread, as I just build the installer and updater.
Looking at the dates of the files, yes, RR Config has replaced RRConfig.

Updated installer has been distributed to all the mirrors (those reachable). Includes the RR Help file from KPJUK.

Hola. Nice job on these. I havent updated my RR since the version before April 2006, but today I am doing a full on reinstall (2.5" lappy drive failed friday). Awesome work!
I used the installer to setup RR, and I expected much more hassle, much more manual work. But It really was click a button and done. Thanks to you guys there is absolutely 100% no reason why people should shy away from RR because of its un-n00by installation.
Anyways, the reason I am posting is because I know the 9/9/07 version is out now, and the installer is outdated, so I used the installer then the updater. I realize that you have the "run from root RR folder" on the top of the updater, but honestly, I dont read what I click, so I ran it from my thumbdrive. It detected RR, said there was a new update, downloaded it to a zip file I believe called "NewRRSomething" and then it errored out with a "run from root", so I saw the sign and went "Doh!" Interestingly enough the updater gave me a "doh" messagebox too.
Anyways again, it got far enough in updating to delete completely (not in Recycle Bin) the RR.exe file but did not replace it with anything! I am not sure if you are aware of this or if this is an isolated event. But perhaps change the checking of the root folder to before it deletes the old exe. It was no biggy, as I just ran the easy-peasy installer again and all is good. But might be something to improve on.
Great job guys!

Looks like it's now back to RRconfig.exe again! Didn't see it mentioned specifically, so is RRconfig updated by RRupdater?

NO! The config has its own builtin updater...as there are more updates to the config still that some people wouldn't know about until the next RR release...
Current config ver is 1.0.0.2
And just to make it more confusing, I decided to change the name of mine to the old name of 'RRConfig.exe' to lessen the hassle of these kinda problems...

RRUpdater and 9/30/2007 version of RR
RR_Updater tells me that my RR is at the 9/9/2007 level and that it is up to date but there is a 9/30/2007 version.
Is there a problem or is there a new updater version for th 9/30/2007 version of RR?
Regards,
Jim

The update server needs to be updated.
webmaster I think runs it and he is MIA right now. Just download the binary, and replace what is in the folder (overwrite).
