Ok, If you're not able to extract the binary file correctly that's telling me there must still be something with your AV (or something... best I can figure...) that is killing it before it can extract the full archive to your RoadRunner folder. Make sure NOD has Advanced Huristics Detection turned off and if your Zone Alarm install has the AV portion running with it, make sure that's off as well.

what AV do you use? Or should I always work without AV if I want to run RR?

I use AVG and I know a lot of people on here do. You can use it with RR, but you have to turn off the Advanced Huristics Detection because it gives a lot of false positives and deletes the RoadRunner.exe file

Hi again. It seems very strange but.... it is true. I 've tried to find this roadrunner.exe using 2 pcs without AV. I download the RoadRunnerBinary.zip.
without problem. But when I extract it roadrunner.exe is missing. Can someone send it to me with an email or what else.

FINALY. I did it . It is a great program. Thanks. And I already start to make plans for a skin. I have to find some hours to make it. Perhaps between 02 and 04 am. Thanks again.

A lot of AV progrmams allow you to put in exclusions although you may have to still turn it off when installing programs. Check if you have an exclusions list.
As fars as a good AV program I've been very happy with Avast. It's one of the best AV programs I've found, it has a small memory foot print, does not take a lot of overhead, gives you lot's of control and it's free for non-commerical use. You do have to reregister every 14 months.

Hey guys
I also had problems with roadrunner.exe not being present, turned advanced heuristics off in Nod32 and voila...bob's ur uncle!
However when I run the updater it is able to verify which version of RR I have and is able to identify that a newer version is available but i get a "Download Failed" message. Any ideas????
