I don't get it... 10s of thousands of installs/updates and now it doesn't work for so many... ... you all have checked the AV/Anti-Spyware programs right? That has been the only issue thus far with RoadRunner.exe being deleted by the AV/AntiSW programs when it's downloaded... either way... I'll check it out...

Hey guys, I tried numerous different methods for doing the updates, and I couldn't get an "update unsuccessful". I've been using a file mod tool to change the dates/version of the RoadRunner.exe for testing purposes, and everything has been working fine.
I have made a few changes to the updater (lil things I should have before) and upped that. The updater's version number will now appear on the front of the program, currently 2.0.0.2. Maybe the recompile will have fixed the issues :-\ :P
I also wasn't able to update all the mirrors, so if your version doesn't say 2.0.0.2, download it once more...

Failed download is indicative of AV/anti-Spyware programs killing the download. Either the archive as a whole or by deleting RoadRunner.exe inside it. The program checks the size of the file on the web and then once downloaded. If they're different, usually because of files being deleted, it throws the error.

I had just tried to install the RR installer on my Window Vista Home basic. But it gives me an error when I tried to run RR from the desktop. The error is "Unexpected error: Quiiting".

So you got it installed, but you get the error when trying to run RR? Then you might want to pose the question in the main RR forum as this is just for the installer and updater (and I'm not really sure why you'd get that error trying to run RR...).
Cheers.

I tried the binary file and it says failed to open...not too sure what is going wrong,..seems like I have to forgo Window Vista and use Win XP Pro instead.
