Dont worry

Dont worry, Im building this system specifically to listen to internet radio.. the gps, directory assistance, sattellite images are a bonus

I am also a programmer.. so if there is nothing yet then I will surely build one.. might take a week or two though.. Ill keep ya posted.

In the mean time if there is a way to read/import playlist then you can simply add the stations to your playlist.

You can make a playlist with shoutcast radios and play them as regular songs. This is being done by a few users already.

Several methods are available. I have in my playlists directory specific playlist for several genres of internet radio stations as well as a button that brings up the winamp library which includes AOL Music with XM, as well as Shoutcast radio. The trick of internet Radio and RoadRunner is not the playing, but the displaying of playlist/ current song info.

The current RR.exe binary doesn't support ATF (Advanced Title Formatting) of winamp extended data. I have come up with two workarounds. The first is a winamp plugin like Toaster that pops up in the foreground whenever winamp extended data changes. This method also presents embeded cover art from mp3s, however, it doesn't work with most full screen apps, i.e., my general.ini is set to display at 800x599 (vice 600) to allow toaster an opening.
The second requires editing and recompiling the RR Source code and including a timer event for reloadlist, however, this is not recommended by Guino because of a possible conflict (that I have never experienced) and it only updates the current playing playlist item, not the entire playlist.

Feel free to search for some of my other posts on ATF and winamp extended data.

Toaster is highly configurable: size, location, transparency, background color, text font/size/color, fade in/out, album art from dir or within mp3, specific art if http or if no other art is found another specific art can be defaulted, 2 columns of 4 lines of ATF expressions available. My toaster uses a cover art of my own design for http and for mp3s it pulls from the mp3 then current folder, then parent dir before defaulting to default art. I sized mine to fit over the area for embedded apps and visualizations so it actually looks like part of RR. I could have matched up the background color but was more concerned with the ATF expressions showing as much data as possible for both MP3s and Http.

The first pic below is just after buffering of the internet radio station (mine takes about 10 seconds before it actually starts playing music - big buffers). The second pic is just after the winamp data changes to display song title and artist (I was a little slow on the screen capture, but I estimate it takes about 20-30 seconds on average to get to this point). I circled the toaster overlay in red.
