Speed sensitive volume - status

Some time ago there was a long thread on speed sensitive volume, or some such name.

I couldn't tell if this work had become part of RR and if so whether I should use the RR.ini statements in the thread.

So the questions are:

Is speed sensitive volume part of RR?

if so,

Do I use the RR.ini statements in the thread, of course modified to my needs?

Do I neeed to use something like xport or gspgate to provide virtual serial ports so that it and say nRoute can access the GPS receiver (GPS-18) at the same time?

Regards,
Jim

Yes, only one app can access the same port, hence...xport(free, small, just works), gpsgate(not free)
