iGuidance 3.01

The only problem I see, is that all the hours of Reshacking iGuidance, will have to be done all over again from scratch

I wonder if the Lat & Lon res-hack will work in the new iG 3.01

It is stupid for ANY application to force something like that on a user!!!! On the other hand, it shouldn't effect it's use in Road Runner, (Fingers crossed!) But I myself see no need to download the new version, as I dont see anything that is going go be of any significance to me really. At least not justifying another 3 hour reshacking session!!!!!

And to answer one of ht questions above, yes it totally 100% means that you will have to reshack it again, as it is a brand new executable.

On the bright side, you can export all your BMP's that you created from 3.0, and just re-use them in the new version, aside from whatever changes that they made to the menu's interface.

yeah, thats def a no-no. Only games have the right to do that. seems with every update they do something real bone headed. Maybe umpc users were complaining that the fs button was too small.

not too sure about the update myself, they fixed a bunch of things i didnt even know was broken, while not fixing any of the things everyone knows is broken, like keyboard support. tsk. oh well.

Well i installed it and it works flawlessly inside RR so it doesn't really matter! But there is one thing i have never understood with ig3.0 Have you ever clicked on bar above your speed, dist the bar that says what you are currently on. Well it pops up with that Current location. And is says save location...

WHAT DOES SAVE LOCATION DO???? I see it has no effect. Well before the update if you clicked on save location IG would freeze, at least for me....

1. Added Panning mode exit timer (when routed)
2. Added all state fwy shields
3. Added code to retain Panning mode after routelist, current location dialogs
4. Modified Guidance screen zoom switching distances
5. Modified left/right arrow behavior

Can someone explain what these mean with the new update?

Wow. I never tried that before, but yes, the save dialog pops up and if I click save NOTHING happens, other than iGuidance locking up tight.

2) Will display the Highway logo, such as "I-95" which is a red and blue "shield" with white letters.

As for the others, I would also like to know what they mean, exactly that is.

is it me or when I log in to get the update, it goes to the old v213 update page... v3 is nowhere to be found..

the page it takes me to is http://inavcorp.com/support/v2/v213.php

so I took that URL and I change it to http://inavcorp.com/support/v3/v301.php

and it worked but there's still no update there.. just new ini file
