Arrow FAQ Request: How to install plugins properly?

Hi there,

I am working with RoadRunner for a little while and i must say to Guinno, Insane man very nice work. Also everyone cooporating for making plugins for this great (and open source) Frontend. But as I not yet have a car my own I'm exploring this at my normal desktop.

So what you want?
Here's whats up, the couple of plugins I tried were easy to install except for the RRMobile plugin I just tried out, have no clue how-to. And with you will come far on this. Also the FAQ on installing the CDRip-plugin describes the install process (but for a newb like me can't compare RRMobile in the process).

So could it be possible to make a general and clearly how-to FAQ to install the different types of plugin? So questions like this can leave the forum?

Would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks and I would like to participate on the FAQ too if you like.

each plugin has its own specific settings and instructions on how to get them to work with RR.

I do feel your pain though, there should be a standard method with some rules to follow that make the whole process as easy as possible.

First would be a plugins folder where all plugins should be installed and auto loaded from instead of the put file anywhere you want method. But thats a whole other thread topic.

Best suggestion is to just do what said plugin says to do to get it to work, for each plugin you want to use.
