Screen resolution awry when set to "default"

When using the current RR Config program I find that if I don't manually set the screen resolution/refresh EVERY time I open the Config program, it sets RR to a "default" of 1920x1200x32 (or something like that) and my Xenarc can't handle it (unintelligible lines across the screen). This is especially problematic since I have RR in the startup folder so it'll start with Windows. It requires a Safe Mode boot to fix the problem.

Anybody else get this?

Try setting resolution in general.ini file in your skin.
OriginalWidth=800
OriginalHeight=600
ShowWidth=800
ShowHeight=600
ie.
Original to the original resolution of the skin / Show to the resolution you want it to be.

do you actually need RR to set the resolution for you ? cause you could look for the
"resolution=" in RR.INI and remove it.. but it could be an issue with the config.. I haven't tested it, but it should not save the resolution= line to the INI if it's set as "default".

I guess I'll speak up, that WAS an issue with the config that was issued with the last RR release, but if you go and get the latest config, it won't happen.

@wizz
FYI, those settings only apply to the skin part, his problem is the actuall reslolution that the screen is using.
