GPS:MM shutdown RR when switch skin
I found a weird problem.
Here it goes. If MM is running and I switch skin (any), the skin is load but then RR and MM all shutdown. From the debug log the last line before shutdown is Winamp window not found.
Music is still playing at the last second it shutdown. When reload RR, music is resume to that last second.
Previous version (4/25) and the latest version of RR (5/6) also has the same problem. MM is also the latest one. Winamp is 2.95. No problem with latest Freedrive version as External GPS. This is regardless of GPS mode to show Menu or directly launch MM.
Anyone has this same problem?

If you switch Skins.. RR is forced to unembed MM (to get it out of the previous skin).. it isn't supposed to close though.. so I'll take a look..

I watched as the process goes.
- Unembed MM.
- Switch skin
- Re-embed MM
- Shutdown. (all MM, RR, Winamp)
With Freedrive, there is No problem switching skin while embeded.

I tested it and found no issue ?? which skin are you using ?

this is what's supposed to happen if you switch skin with MM open:
-Show MM screen
-Unembed MM
-Uload All Screens
-Load new (selected) MENU.SKIN

Nothing beyond that is supposed to happen..

This is what I did in sequence
-Run RR, and main menu load up with skin created by kuo.
-Push GPS button and select Destinator.
-Destinator skin load, MM run and embeded.
-Push the BACK/Exit button to go back to RR Main menu.
-Push skin browser button and select Brush Metal one from your site.
-RR shutdown.

This is from my desktop, but the problem also happen on my 2 carPC as well regardless of skins. My 2 carPCs has the same directory structures (Winamp, Destinator, RR, Music, Video) as my desktop.

guino if I am the only one who has this bug/problem, don't but too much your time into it. Spend your time on some thing else that satified more folks. When I have time I will look into this to see why. In the mean time, I just use Freedrive instead

I'll try it with the kuo skin -- but it sounds like a skin issue at first.. as far as I know there's an "exit" command there being inpropperly executed ... the "SELECT" command in the skin browser should not be queueing that..

EDIT: Think I found and fixed the issue here..
