phoco intergration, latest ver issues
a few long standing off/on issues with phoco intergration.
Although the latest release brought some more stability etc, i still find these problems below.
1. Error opening com port on cold boot. If i shutdown RR, and run PhoCo stand alone, it works fine. Then afterwards RR loads phoco fine.
2. There is a pretty long wait time between phoco loading, marked by the bat and signal sliders working and hearing the loading complete loading sound that phoco makes, to the time i actually see my phone book. I know that phoco is completely loaded as the sliders work, the remote mouse works, basicly everything except i cant see the phone book till like 3-4 min later.
Previous versions of RR showed the phonebook same time as the bat and signal meters were working.
3. Still recieve the "failure to load resources" error apon exit of RR when it tries to shutdown PhoCo. This dosent happen everytime, but often.
4. When a phone call is started, the call out screen is shown almost instantly and things go as expected. But there seems to be some slight confusion either with PhoCo or RR as to weather im still on the phone. When i end the call, the window will go away, then a few sec later, it will pop back up for a few seconds then go way on its on. During one phone call (outgoing) i see the window about 3-4 times. Not a huge issue.
5. Contents of the phonebook. Prob not a RR or PhoCo issue, user error likely. But the phone book in RR, compared to the Phonebook in PhoCo stand alone, compared to the phonebook in my phone, are all different. In the RRConfig.exe where is says to point to your address file, what file is this? I just point it to the PhoCo install dir and assume that RR will find whatever file its looking for. Is this the right way to set this up?
6. Not a bug or anything, but is there a skin that i can download "rightnow" that has working SMS support? I want to add it to my skin but am not sure at all as to how its supposed to be setup, what .skin files are being called etc.
Thanks.

I have also noticed problems 1 -5.
7. In addition phoco by itself will start an audio gateway service when I am on a call. However phoco through rr doesn't. This is using a multi bt service phone so the comm port stays connected during this time.

I can confirm #1. Phonebook takes about 3 minutes to show up for me as well.
8. When a call comes in, the popup displays an old number from some previous call. Then after about 3 rings, it'll be updated with the correct number. This is somewhat annoying and causes you to sometimes accept or reject the wrong call.

Also add after coming out of hibernation I have to shut down RR and open back up for PhoCo to connect.

This preview release of RR would have to solve some issues of the current phoco integration.

Yes, it will have to solve your issue with the audio gateway.
Try this:
Edit your phone profile in PhoneControl using the Extended Configurator and set the option UseBTManager to False or more simply use Wizard and when it ask for to select how do you want PhoneControl to control the headset of your phone, answer "Don't control the headset".
Well, at this point, edit your RR.ini file and add this two settings:
connecthsp=true
btdevicename=My phone
where "My phone" is the Bluetooth name of your phone.
Let me know if this solve your issue.
