Hi all, how about iGo 8 ?? how can i embedd it to road runner ?? does anyone know? It seems i'm not beeing able to do that, and when it runs if i want to return to road runner it automatically pops up again (iGo)over any menus i'm on. Any ideas?

Hi, thanx for all that info but i'm having a problem with iGo8, not embedding but making him stay in the background when i wish to return to the FE menu... It keeps poping up the GPS image over the Roadrunner menus (even if i change skins )!! Could someone help me with that??

Try changing the window name to "IGO8" (without quotes)

No luck on that.. still pops up when i try to go back on RR menus ! Any other suggestions treetop777?

Yeah, LSX Void doesn't lend itself to chages very easily and those commands are intended for Iguidance.

I have been trying OnCourse Navigator 8 for a couple of weeks on my HTC Touch Pro.
I REALLY like it so far.
Here is a review of the software:

OnCourseNavigator 8 = iGo8 -- there's a PC version you can use with RR:
You need to search for igo8 mysize -- http://code.google.com/p/igo-mysize/ you'll find the tool to allow you to resize the software so it embeds in the space you want.

Any help to make Navitel navigation (Win CE emulation) and RR front end work together ?
I have tried this in a Run.bat :
"D:\!!_Soft_!!\PC_Car\GPS Soft\Navitel\11\Navitel\Emulator\DeviceEmulator.ex e" C:\Navitel\WinCE50core_FULL2.bin /tooltips OFF /memsize 256 /nosecurityprompt /video 640x350x16 /sharedfolder "C:\Navitel\"
Using this button code:
"LOAD;gisrx.SKIN;device emulator;C:\navitel\run.bat;device emulator"

1-If you run the run.bat command (outside RR) -- does it work ?
2-If it works, post a screen shot of the window... you may just be using the wrong window title to embed it.
3-When you try it INSIDE RR, do you see the emulator loading ?
