Hmm. been watching memory usage but did not notice the memory usage to go up. How fast did this happen?

1. You can use my skin that you can download (see couple of posts back)
2. You can read the pdf I have attached in the plugin download and use the example
Basically.
1. Do not set RadioMode to 7 in RR.INI
2. Register the plugin dll after copying it to the RR directory (together with the ini)
3. edit your menu.skin and add X,RR_ICERADIO
Now create a skin for your radio (or use the example from the zip)
The labels and commands you can use are documented in the pdf.

documentation says to run >cmd then change to RR directory and type regsvr32 RR_ICERADIO.DLL
Well no such dll is in the zip file.......
USBRadio.dll is in the zip, but that one fails with a 'cant find entry point'
whats going on...........

if you read the documentation, there is nothing who told you to regsrv the usbradio.dll, or ?
why you try it.
you only should register the rr_iceradio.dll, make the entry in the menu.skin and insert the order in your exectbl.ini, nothing else.
if you use the silabs stick, the iceradio is near perfect. you can work with all parameters who are written in the help file.
if you look to post #1, you find a link for the last 1.06 version. it works and its complete.

It tells me (uk)radio 1 is a country music station..........
I guess its only decoding the RDS data (in this case PTY 10) to an american lookup table, maybe we need a UK dll (hint) with the table entries changed to suit..........(not 'now' I'm not complaining, but later etc, just so its 'right')
Wonder how is this going to affect the probablity of TMC, because that will be different, why the standard had to be reinvented is beyond me...

TMC is only in the EU... the US has some other name I can't remember...
Re RDS - its an international standard so should be correct.

Tomato'e tomato all over again.........
the lookup table is different for european / US station classification, of course they are the same (almost) but in a different damn order so two tables are needed to do it right............
I thought the US had TMC on FM?
I know we have it carried on the back of classic FM and associated stations under the parent company, and I think radio 1
tables.
