which USBradio.dll runs, is the version which comes with the TestSilabs and one which is dated by 27.04.07 08:02.
but both of them gives me only signals for RDSText, RDSStation and RDSSignal........ but i want all whats possible with this stick.
and your iceradio is my favorit in this way.
on your iceradio application i like the lot more signals in/out and that i can make 30 stations for selection in a list. here is the _down screen from my RENESIS skin for your iceradio signals. fill it with life, please.

I see your skin is using 12 presets. But my plugin has only 10 presets per screen which you can switch by using the radio_band button (like a normal headunit has FMI, FMII and FMIII.
I'm willing to help to get the ADS Radios working. I have setup a development environment and I am able to build my own usbradio.dll using a code example. But I need to know what to change in the dll to make it work for ADS as well.

i will wait if you can make it possible that i work with the ADS stick.
yes i know it with the 12 buttons for station seletion, button 11 would be a reserve switch and button 12 for ... next 10 stations... and i know that you use the FM button... but it looks better with 12 in the box.
i think GuMiSZu gives a link with the source of the USBRADIO.dll with ADS support.
once again thanks for your help.

hi i want to try your plugin but am having some trouble getting it working. I followed your instructions in the pdf but don't want to use your ski, so i have gone so far as registering the dll and adding X,RR_ICERADIO to the menu.skin file.
When i start RR i hear static (like when no real station selected), i try to go to the radio shortcut on my simplistque skin and nothing happens when i click my presets. If i have a song playing i still hear the static so it sounds like the radio is always on? is this right?
The instructions in the pdf weren't very detailed so i just added X,RR_ICERADIO to the very top of the menu.skin file. Is this the right place?
for now i've gone back to the rr native silabs. But would like to give yours a try if i can get it working

If u mean CdR's then sure u can use it, but not all the functions since it's missing some of the buttons like Traffic and so on... I've made a post over at the other forum where he seems to be spending some more time so maybe in the next release... until then just use the one that comes with the plugin!

See post 68, this plug-in work perfectly with the sample skin; it don't work stand-alone with any other skin unless you re-work the skin with it's custome commands (definitions).
Best RDS i got so far..

well I'm not the best skinner out there but I', trying to make it work with the IPhone skin and it's all the same way!
first go and get the RR skineditor, open up your simplistique skin and choose the radio screen from the list of skin files, then open up the radio skin that comes with this plugin and just copy everything that u want over to the new one!
just play around some with the skineditor and u'll get a hang of how it works!

Iceradio seem to works well with data as long as you have good reception, The issue I am having (as I do with other silabs dll's) is that none seem to pass sound in Win2K. I see data and I can change stations but no sound.
I have tried it on 3 Win2K pc's all with the same problem. WinXP pc's work ok. I did see another thread somewhere, where others had the same problem, however there is that many silabs threads that I have lost track of them.
Can anyone else who has this issue confirm it is a Win2K problem and if so is there any chance of rectifying it?

Issues skinning
So I was porting the skin over to CdR's Iphone one today and ran into some issues with it...
Whenever I use my own iceradio skin the radio is always on, and I couldn't find any way to change it...
some other small stuff to like the rds text not showing but that might be cuz I had some eally bad reception.
Anyone know where the guide to resolder an external antenna to the stick is... I have a faint memory of reading it somewhere but I can't find it in the forums anymore!
