Great work. Haven't got around to test it but I'm sure it beats my IceRadio.

For your TI, is it also working with EON? I have never got that to work. In the Netherlands the public radio stations are all EON linked. So if there traffic info on another linked station the tuner is notified using an EON message so the (single) tuner can switch to that station until the TI message has finished. The tuner then switches back to the original station. Same thing for NEWS.

Does the TI also switches to radio (pausing MP3) when I'm listening to MP3's?
Is it possible the set a predefined volume when the TI or NEWS occurs in case I had my volume turned down because I'm talking or not in the mood for music (interested in News or traffic info though)?

Have had much time lately since I started my own business. And my car is in repair after I got hit by another car from behind. I can share my last IceRadio code if you like.

it doesn't work with eon, i can't test in italy because few radio use it, and where i am i can't tune its frequence
the ti works when the ta and tp are both on, the news feature work when in the radio station we tuned the pty is "news"
in both case roadrunner go to the radio player
it pause any other video/mp3
it is possible to set the master radio volume from my plugin and set any speaker from it
in this way you can have different volume for radio and other source
i'm not the only have work to this project, my friends SkyNet make the new usbradio.dll
tomorrow i test it in my test-skin and i have found some bug on the front speakers
when this bug were fixed i post my last version of my extension plugin and usbradio.dll of Skynet
this dll work using single tuner , there are 2 version of usbradio.dll, stereo and quadriphonic (2 or 4 speakers)

yes it dose exacxtly what it says on the tin , hav'nt found any major problems,

Maybe I can help on the EON part. Since the TA and TP for EON linked stations do not get true at the same time, I will only be able to tune to non-EON stations to get notified on traffic announcements. A workaround could be when there is a way to specifiy what station the Silabs tuner would have to monitor for TA when the radio is not being used. If I would start the tuner skin in RR it should then jump to the frequency I was last listening to. When leaving the skin it would have to jump back to the frequency to monitor for TA in the background. Is this something you would consider as a future enhancement?

it easy add a function to have a volume preset only for the ti or news
in this way you can have a volume for rr, a volume for radio music, and a volume for ti and news
i only add some line in the testsilabsdll.ini and 2 line into the news sub and 2 into ti sub

p.s. good idea! i'll make this in the next version
in the final version i add a setup.exe loadable into rr if can set the many value of the testsilabsdll.ini and make the change "live" to the extension plugin

pop up during automatic seek af
it'is skinnable and you can put into all you want
i put "mute radio", "unmute radio" and "exit from automatic af"
in the picture under the pop up is visible the radioart of the radio station (and the frequence from af is started)

well i thought i had everything working, just installed the last updates, but i.m having a few problems.

unable to mute/unmute with mutesilabs /unmutesilabs

getting no radioart showing, but that might the way i'm labeling it, what am i suppose to label the jpg to.
rdstext is gone ,may be due to the blue wire arial but had it once before.

you can test all the command using a program from sdk of guino:
SDKExample.rar

put mutesilabs or unmutesilabs into its texbox ad click "send command"

if mute/umute not working on you pc you can test in this way
if are working in the sdkexample it must working in the skin
if are working in the sdkexample chech if your skin comand are write right

tell me your pi radio station i make some test in my skin
the radioart you see in the picture is 21012.jpg file, you can see in the picture the pi of radio station on the left of the radioart,21012
is possible it's depend on the name of the folder of roadrunner? i use c:\programmi\road runner\radioart, but i make the dll indipendent of the roadrunner path:

isthefile = App.Path & "\radioart\" & lblpi2 & ".jpg"
the file is the path of dll + \radioart\ + pi name of station + ".jpg"

in radiotxt you using guino command or my sil_rdstext ?

the folder named "radioart" is in my RR folder "root" jpg inside it with pi number 50086.jpg

as for rds i get it somtimes so i'm putting that down to my arial.
as for mute did the sdk example and send command nothing
standard rr cmd mastermute works but that mutes the master vol.
also todat i got an echo on the radio broadcast, then it disappeared then it was back again. i'm not a radio tech, so half the stuff in this plugin, i'm not sure what it dose lol...
is the radio art path hardcoded to c:\programmi\road runner\radioart, if so might be the problem with "programmi" when we use "program files" here that might be the problem.

EDIT further test the echo i have stops when i use mute and is back on unmute, so i'm getting 2 audio radio, 1 which is muted by your mute cmds

mute now working had a linein80 dll in my winamp plugins folder deleted that and the echo now gone and mute now works.

i forgot two thinghs

1)the direct sound dll don't need line in winamp
if you use winamp linein on in the rrconfig uncheck it! or winamp generate echo of radio streaming

2) update the firmware of the silabs using adsconfig, you can find the last version here:

use the ADS Standard.dec or ADS NoiseMod Secondary.dec
after the update, uninstall from the system resource the "usb multifunciotnal resource" (i don't know how is named in english) you can view the right to remove loking its detail,
it is named "ADS InstantFM Music"
after remove the silabs forrm the usb port, power off the system (not reset, power off)
power on the pc, and put the silabs into an usb port

now the silabs work again and you don't have problem inside the plugin

well update done, skin cmds checked all fine ,everything apart from the art is working,
which looks to be a path issue.
