It's for a mate who does a fair bit of track driving at Silverstone.
I gave him a basic large readout speedo based on a clear BMV2 background. All it does is display the GPSSPD label so isn't at all sophisticated.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a reset-able TIMER label?
Something like this below would do the trick. At top is the GPSSPD label and "mph" text.
With a button bottom right to start and stop the timer, and timer readout to the left of that.
I shall be installing it on my pals PC as soon as possible.
Before you install I need to adjust the formating, as at the moment it (as I said earlier) it counts to 99 seconds not 59 before adding to the minutes.
*edit, just thought, hitting Start after a Stop shouldn't reset the counter.
You know, it's times like this make me think of ditching CF and switching to RR myself.
The only thing that turned me away in the first place was MapMonkey, and now there are so many more Nav progs to choose from...

corrected seconds counting to 99 rather than 59
changed start/stop so that on restart it continues counting from where it left off.
Well I can simply add a request to RR for GPS speed and work off that, but to be honest a button to start the counter would be better and then it could stop when a set speed, 100KPh or 60MPh is attained.
