Plugin?

Is there a way to have audio from 2 different sources streamed to different speakers?

Such as MP3/XM audio to the fronts, movie audio to the rears?
I'm wanting to set up a dual monitor setup so my kid can watch a movie on a headrest monitor, and I turn on the movie from up front. Possible?

no way to handle this in RR, but you can set up winamp to handle multiple instances, then set each instance to use two separate sound cards. So you can have MP3 playing on primary sound card on first instance of winamp, then have XM (thru winamps line-in plugin) playing from the second sound card from the second winamp source. Sounds like a fun wiring job huh.

well, if I can run multiple instances of winamp, couldnt I run a plugin to direct sound to the fronts via one instance and sound to the rears with the second instance, and just "y" the audio to the Audion input. Now that I think about it probably not, cause I dont think the audio "split" is done with the cables. In other words there is no Front/rear input via cables.

You will need two soundcards, two instances of winamp, and probably two instances of RoadRunner.

Well that's what I am going to test on my mirror carpc as soon as I finish installing the drivers

Only problem, is that I want to be able to play the movies on the second screen, controlling it from the first

So do I.

Roadrunner (1) should be able to send commands to RoadRunner (2)
