I've done a fair amount of tweaking to get CoverJuke to size properly in RR and am finally at a point where it's pretty seamless. I'm only experiencing the following two issues:
1. When I click an album to play it is loaded twice. So if the song has 15 songs 30 songs will be loaded into the playlist. The entire album will play through twice in the correct order. I have verified that it's not due to multiple clicks. Is anybody else experiencing this?
2. Every now and then when I click an album cover the album before the one I want to look at will appear instead of the one I want to look at. Is anybody else experiencing this?

1. Haven't seen that...yet...
2. Yes. I've noticed that it's related to mouse placement. Almost as if you have to pick the closest right edge of the album you want...IDK...

Carputer, have you run v1.41 version in RR? I believe the download in the first post contains the earlier version that had the problem with the left click. I have tried running 1.41 with El's RR mod but haven't been able to make it work. Everything works fine with 1.41 except when I click on an album cover nothing happens. I've tried everything I can think of.

Is it loading an m3u from within that folder?
I'm not sure coverjuke will see it but RR will

Griff, you're a genius! I hadn't removed the m3u files I created for Coverflow, so it was loading the songs plus the m3u file. No double load after deleting the m3u files.

Hopefully leberrem will stop back in to help with the couple of issues. This would be an ideal little proggy for in-car use if:
1. Access saved database rather than rebuild each time;
2. It ignores folders not containing album art so that there are no blank covers.
3. Left album issue fixed, which it sounds like version 1.4 does.
I recently ran the program for the first time using the native player. It is really a slick little program. Nice work, leberrem.

got you carputer1, that makes sense. But you still can't avoid running two instances from a same source since you don't wanna kill the cj until you exit RR. Don't wanna build the list everytime you enter the screen...
by the way, I am not sure if the bottleneck is caused by the lack of db capability.. I read author's response from his forum.. He said image rendering of openGL is what eats up all the time.... I did a little testing.. 3 good albums and 50 empthy albums only with folder.jpg in them. It still takes a**** load of time to finish loading the all the image with or without songs in the folders...
Don't quote me on this one though.. i could be wrong or misunderstood..

So, does anyone else think a Pub style jukebox option is useful or is it just me. My main use for this is in the home. I have gathered by now that you all probably have a PC in you car. I have looked at some of the photos of some of your setups and I must say I'm impressed.

ok. i need some help guys.. i can not run both video and audio coverjuke at the same time without killing one another in advance due to the condition in AI where it checks for active openGL. I have to use some sorta global variable from RR or anything from rr.ini that's really insignificant to most. Any suggestion on which one you think i can use? something dummy... you know.

Not that interesting to me, but that's just me. To the extent the author is willing to work with us, I would rather see him focus on essential features that will help make the program more useful for the community as a whole. Then the tweaks can begin, especially if he is kind enough to release the source so we can play with it.

I'd love to help, but I don't even know what openGL is much less how to fix it.

Andrew you can do what you want by installing rr,just have a main menu and an audio player skin and your done,i'll even do those skins for you if you like, that way the rr commands will work for you.
