I just installed the latest evaluation version of Bluesoleil, and downloaded their PhoneDialer plugin.

With the Bluesoleil stack, I was able to send name cards to my computer (wasn't able to with the original Vista stack). The PhoneDialer plugin works halfway. I'm able to make calls from my computer, but I can't see the CallerID if someone calls me. Bluesoleil also says it can't download my phone's contact list. Lastly, I tried sending a text message, but it failed.

Hopefully this is relevant info to the project..

just tur on then turn off BT before you do any test, I managed to get it over like that.

Seems like these two projects are extremely similar, and it might be a good idea to combine forces. Just a thought.

Tried the program, Awesome. I have found a couple At commands, Still working on more. I have got it to answer a call, Make a data call.... Cant get voice call. When i call the phone just ring ring ring show up, lol. Just to refresh I have Samsung Glyde

i installed the parrot EVO bluetooth in my car. it works with the car speakers well but doesn't display numbers. can i use this CallerID program at the same time it is connected to EVO? if so, this would be perfect! i had a lot of issues trying to get my Treo paired with my computer, though, in the past. if CallerID can work with EVO simultaneously, i think i'll get a bluetooth dongle to try-out.

that depands on your setup,...
you only can heve 1 serial (1 incomming, 1 outgoing) connection between comp and the same device

If you want to use the same connection for you EVO then you need put thet port on Xport, if your EVO uses HS or HSF or HDA profiles then i have no idea whats gonna happen... well if you have original Toshiba stack then you probably will have multiple ports and that might work. If you have BlueSoleil or anything that combines ports in 1 then i doubt it.
