When I plug my phone into my laptop via USB, it gets 2 COM ports: COM7 calls it a USB Modem and COM8 recognizes it as a phone.

When I tried the COM Port Debugger program, using COM7, I was able to send an "ATD" command to my phone, BUT it went through as a "data call," which I think means it was trying to start a DUN connection.
When I tried COM8, no "AT" commands worked, whatsoever. Incoming calls would not be displayed on the COM Port Debugger either.
