Just discovered a bug with latest release...if you change vertical resolution to less than 480, no back covers display , and cpu usage goes up the roof, fix is coming....

Bug fixed, and updated RAR r2, but there is a limitation to how small you can make it, for some reason it does not work smaller than 301 x 301....go figure...

Should be alright , can't imagine anyone going smaller....

not sure if i have this set right, bit confused on flash stuff and settings lol....
i do have it working,

cpu = on start 15 - 25% /// when i zoom a album = 100% till i unzoom

and is very sluggish to use.

now when i start CM i have nothing showing till i hit the folder button bottom left
and path.txt has nothing showing, this maybe due to my folder stucture, as i'm music\artist\album\ each album folder holds a folder.jpg

EDIT:Path.txt is now showing my folder structure not sure what happened must be just a tad slow in making the file up lol

also when i do get the albums to show if i leave CM skin and return CM loads the next page of albums over and over again and have to ctrl-alt-del to come outter of rr.
might have to add \discardable to the skin file

EDIT:Adding Discardable to the skin file has solved CM loading art over and oevr again on 2nd start up

also my skin defined area has tobe 800 - 485 to have all the buttons show up , any smaller than that and the buttom buttons disappear, is this down to your settings (Default used) is it just amatter of moving the buttons to my defines area.

also the button for flipping was there now gone

and finally any news of user defined graphic buttons i mentioned about ,now i have seen this versions layout i could really arrange my skin to look really good if i could use my own button graphics.

hope all this makes sense

keep it up mate your 1 step away from having your own button in my skin lol....
i have already added a switch in my settings skin to use cm or rr ocverbrowser or coverjuke user choice

more here zoom album and press play album , isee my winamp playlist get cleared but it dose not load the new playlist till i unzoom art i'm sure this is down to the cpu level i'm at when i zoom art 100%

here is a vid of it running you can see the cpu and the 1st load not doing anything till i hit folder icon bottom left, also you can see how this could fit my skin very nicley if you managed to set the button graphics to suit the skins

Thx for feedback, bug confirmed...does not like being taller than 480, will try to fix today..this is causing performance issue as well...

Can you test at 480 height, and let me know how it goes?

Oh, custom buttons is in this release, the option is in the albums.txt file....look at my buttons in my video for example..

much better cpu usage, it spikes now and then when you 1st double click the art but drops again.

excellent, it wasn't exiting the scale up loop, thus the flip button not showing, and the cpu usage maxing out....

file paths.txt and folder.jpg directory
C:\RideRunner\Skins\audi\patch.txt and folder.jpg

just drop the unzipped folder into where ever you want it, with all contents

paths.txt will be created when you start CM, and appears in YOUR skin folder

@pcpete got my button images working, the only snag is i have to use full dir path for them ,, so if any user that uses my skin and puts the CM folder else where to where i have it it will not work , i have 2 options here.

release with CM in my skin folder as is now or if your able, to have it read the rr code path

ie. &alphabutimage=$skinpath$Images\button.png&END

don't know if you can do that,, now to move things around and start to design this screen thank pete

a few more things pete

this is really starting to look good now , but can i have text on the shuffle,play,etc buttons you only have it on the drop meny buttons, as i move the button + my image i lose the icon on then so if you can add text that would be good, ie &nextcoverpagetext=Next Page&END

also font color on each button please but can it read a different format like 255,255,255

also when i 1st load CM i get nothing until i hit the reload paths.txt button, any ideas why?????

sorry i know i'm asking alot if not possiable then i can live with it, but the text on top is needed for the images to work

For now , i've only test CM with the all the files unziped into the current skin folder...not a subfolder....try putting all the files including your custom buttons into your skin folder and let me know how it goes...

I'm thinking of moving CM into it's own folder ie plugins folder, so that it is skin independant...I am open to any suggestions...

How are you making out paftis?

This can be done, but the space for text would be limited, I've created different graphic files for each one of my buttons, ie playbut.jpg, shufbut.jpg etc... you could put text/icon directly in the jpg...
