Made some good progress today! Just need to polish up some things, improve documentation , and hopefully release by the end of the week...
Here's a little demo of some of the new features....
You will be able to specify the max amount of covers you want displayed at a time...you can page through the covers sequentially, and covermess will create a dynamic alphabetical menu with artists contained on each page... genre will also be dynamic with folder level containing genre user definable or via xml in the "desc" field...

All buttons can be user configed by txt settings file, this includes size, position, color and alpha....

The artist selection is coming, as for album selection not sure if this is necessary, the albums are the covers
The list of songs is also coming, thats what the 'flip' button is for....when the flip button is pressed the cd will flip to show what songs are on the cd (in the folder).....

Looks nice, Pete. Thanks for all your work on this.
I'm wondering what kind of CPU usage you're experiencing on this. I have a lowly Pentium 4 and all of the cover viewing plugins I've used so far have spiked usage to 100%, making them unusable.

on idle (when the covers are just sitting there) about 3%, but the animation can spike to 60% depending on how many covers you've set to display at a time...
The latest video in RR shows CPU usage, but this is not accurate because most of the cpu is being used to capture and compress the video .....

Hi pcpete,
I use the NaGarmin skin.
I had downloaded the generate_XML.au3 file who create a covers.xml file for my CD list .
When I lunch RR , I push on the covermess button and all run very well and very quickly . It's very fun .
BUT , How can I found a specific CD . Is it possible to filter a CD title or found more easily any thing about a CD (song title or other)
Thanks for this very fun software
