CDRskull - Any chance of getting the skin you did for the radioshark? I was trying to come up with something myself that looked good with MC2.0 when I stumbled on your post here...

I noticed that the plugin takes it skin from the rr.ini file, and not from the resume.ini file if its there, which might confuse some peeps. Will the source be available for the plugin ?
cheers

Thanks for suggestion. I will check for "resume.ini" in next release.

I still can't get it to sound. The plugin shows the skin but no sound or channels.
Am I doing something wrong? I removed the "N N" gap also.
Does the path have to be c:\roadrunner for it to work? I have mine under c:\program files\roadrunner
I have in my ExecTBL.ini :
/, Set Below the Path to Radioshark plugin (if used)
"RADIOSHARK","PLUGIN;RRRadioSharkPlugin;C:\Pro gram Files\Road Runner\radioSharkPlugin\radioSharkPlugin.exe"
Can someone post a menu.skin of the tuner part

Looks like radioSharkPath is not correct.
Make sure you can start radhioSHARK.exe by it self without the plug-in. The patched exe should work as stand-alone providing all radioSHARK functionality.
Make sure the “radioSharkPath” entry in the radioShark.ini (the file you drop in your RoadRunner installation folder) is the actual path of your executable.
# path of the radioShark executable
radioSharkPath=C:\Program Files\Griffin Technology\radioSHARK\radioSHARK.exe

Thanks.. got it running now!
Radioshark has to be connected by audio cable also (I thought it would be usb only) which was not mentioned in the guide. annyhow.. It seems to work now! audio comes from line-in. Is there anyway to pause winamp and unmute line-in while starting and visa versa while closing? I read something about this in the FAQ but not quiet sure how to configure..

Mine is connected via usb only.. First I just got it working with the software on the cd that came with it, once I got sound and got a couple of radio channels I then set about installing this kewl plugin.
btw.. I soldered the car aerial adapter.. with the + going to where the original fm aerial went, and the - to the point above it..
ie..
o - neg on aerial
o - pos on aerial
o - am
o - am
0 - spare
think thats right.. I got the best signal by using these points, unsure if there correct or not but I'm happy
Another thing I noticed is the failer of the plugin to pull the correct format from the ini files for labels.. ie format of time. I know this isnt anything to do with your coding, but this has stopped me release a picture viewer plugin.. maybe guino could take a look

Here's a picture of the board, I'm in the middle of doing the same thing...
CDRSkull - How's the AM reception in the car with the standard radioshark antenna?

I'm posting this plugin in RR's sites, I was just wondering if you plan to make the sources available at some point in time (even if after you don't want to make any more changes to it).. I only ask in case later on, if/after you loose interest in working on it, that other people could make improvements/tweaks as they see fit. But it's very nice to see a plugin done from the "basic" plugin interface .. Plus, this seems to be one of the best options for USB radio right now.

I will release the source code after I done developing. I still have few ideas left. It would be nice to integrate radioSHARK into RR.
