I just purchased a RadioShark and I am trying to get the plugin to work.
I went through the readme and made sure all of the paths are corrent but I cannot get the plugin to work.
The screens come up and the radiosharkplugin starts but the radioshark exe doesn't.
The radioshark.exe was patched and works standalone.
Any ideas on why it doesn't work?

I too am having some difficulties with it. When I start the radioshark plugin from RoadRunner, it starts the radio app up, and I can click on the buttons programmed into the skin, but the plugin does not hide the app from view, and does not accept the key commands I have programmed into RoadRunner. (WASD instead of the arrows)
Any ideas?
Is there an SDK document that you used to make this plugin? Would you mind sharing with us, in case we just want to write our own module for it? If possible it'd be nice if I don't even have to start radioShark.exe.
Thanks Great work on this, BTW, and I agree on the integration into RR point... would be perfect

Check the path again. Copy the radioSHARK.exe path and go to: Start > Run. Paste the copied path and hit the OK button.

1. Try to use the skin downloaded with the plugin. If it does work then you did not programmed your buttons correctly. Instead making new skin from scratch, try to modify existing skin.
2. Patched radioSHARK.exe will not accept KEY commands you programmed previously. You have to choose between plugin and KEY commands
3. In the next release I will fix the problem. It will hide the radioSHARK screen.

I'm working on the list support for the plugin.

Evolution,
I have checked the path and it is correct.
One question I have is the radioShark.ini file. Should it be in c:\Program Files\Road Runner folder or c:\Program Files\Road Runner\radiosharkplugin folder?
I am thinking that the plugin cannot find the ini file. I tried it with the ini file in both places and it still failed.
Is there any way to debug this?

I installed the plugin on to a different computer and it worked.
I guess I have to figure out why the first one fails.
Thanks for your help.

I have tripple checked all my settings. They all match the readme.txt file.
I click on my radio button, and the new skin comes up, but no frequency, or sound or anything.
If I run the plugin as a standalone (after the true/false change), again, the skin comes up but no sound
If I run radioSHARK all by itself (either patched or unpatched) it comes right up.
Perhaps I need to re-install Road Runner. . .
HELP! Did I just waste 75 bucks?

Do I need to make any changes to the rrconfig.exe file in the "Radio" section?? I wish I knew why this wasn't working for me . . .

Okay more weirdness . . .
I installed Road Runner and radioSHARK and the plugin on a different computer (the desktop at work) which is running windows 2000 server and guess what.
Works perfectly.
Then I copied the entire Griffin Folder and Road Runner Folder from the desktop, and copied it to the machine that I can't get it to run on . . . and guess what . . .
Nothing. Still won't run. The skin comes up, but no dice.
So, it appears to be a hardware thing. Are there any dll tips or anything I should check to make the plugin run? DirectX? .NET framework?
Thanks!
Todd

I fixed my problem last night by reinstalling the operating system.
The big Fdisk cures alot.
Hopefully it stays that way.

I have troubles understanding how the preset are used. Is there a way to save a preset with the current frequency on the fly or do you have to put it by hand in the radioshark.ini file???
Any news if the sources will be released and when??
